Im getting an xbox elite and the new Call of Duty for Christmas.

I havnt really played on them much...because I am so rubbish.. im used to PC gaming

are they easy to get used to?

On pc cod is so easy and quick to do things.. like throw nades etc.. run..

I vote calling his dad and grassing him up for peaking on top of their wardrobe :p

Presumably it'll be ok for a whippersnapper like you but since getting a ps2 then 360 i've found it hard to devote time and get used to c gaming again, despite building a rather nice i7 set up to tempt me. At the moment this rig is gathering dust in the cold study whilst I browse etc on the laptop :(

Just stick with it, I was a devote mouse and keys for many years and when I first got my xbox I was worse than playing with no hands :p
Like everyone says stick with it, it gets less painful over time.

consoles not that hard. I find playing on console very different because it feels to me on the games i played that there isn't such a big skill margin. For example on css there is a whole range of skill of players to be found from the people who can't hit anything to save their life right to the pro's who will head shot you a mile off. Ive found in console games people are generaly much the same with a few in the extremes either way. Much easier to get into. Having said that i still choose to play on the pc as i rather the broad range of skills, keeps it challenging and rewarding when you are doing better then others.
