It looks great for short journeys instead of cycling or taking the bus. Plus its allowed on the train.

Illegal to use on footpaths/pavements in the UK - like Segways. So you'd have to use it on the road (and would you want to on the road on that?).

walking is so last century! It should be much faster then walking. the only issue is going up hills.

I would imagine emergency stops could be quite interesting as well. It would redefine the face plant.
