I have a pack of 3 cod fillets from sainsburys, I also bought one of those shwartz sachets of cheese sauce to accompany the fish, now how on earth do you cook the fish before putting the sauce on it?

Well, its where you fry the fish....in a pan. :p

Its not really unhealthy, given that with a decent pan you'll only be using a small drop of oil.

Just finished cod with parsley sauce myself - I put some dill on top of the fish, some seasoning, slice of lemon and cooked it in the microwave for 3 mins cos I like my fish moist. Made up the sauce and poured it over the top, added some new potatoes and veg. It was smashing

Cook them?

Beat any nearby females across the face with them!! har har!

edit - my old housemates used to wrap them with a bit of oil and other herbs in some baking paper and then oven cook them. It used to stink out the house but apparently tasted quite good.

Just pop them in the toaster for a couple of minutes:)
Probably not a good idea. How would he get them out of the toaster? Just pop them under the grill.

Just tighten the pop up springs before you put them in, then they'll come flying out when ready, that's how I do it :/

Pop them in a dish with just enough milk to cover them add a little salt and pepper then stick em in the oven at 180c for 15-20 minutes. Then use the milk to make the sauce.
