My total budget is £400-£500 and I wish to be able to play all the latest games maxed out.My computer knowledge is sound if not worldy-wise, so please correct any discrepencies and incompatiblities. If you think I have under-paid or over-paid for a particular component, or I am missing a component please pipe up Smile

Sorry but isn't your title meant to be "First"
Please post back with overclockers link since your linking to a competitors. (They always seem more expensive)

Apologies Mjones. I shall look into overclockers hardware and prices now.

baked188. Is the difference between th 4870 and 4890 noticeable. I have heard it is only marginally quicker and produces similar results.

Ok thanks for the tips all. Went ahead and bought the xfx 4890 after reading up on its advantages over the 4870.

Every component bought now.

Just one question.

This is the PSU that comes with the coolermaster elite 330;
Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 460W PSU

Will it be powerful enough to supply the 4890 as I am highly doubtful and I believe the 4890 requires 500W.

If not can someone reccomend me a cheap psu (though I know it is not a part to skimp on.). thanks.
