this is ref this thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18671950

today was the day my new two Noctua NF-S12B REDUX 700RPM 120mm Quiet Case Fan arrived just fit them on to my cpu liquid cooler and it shuts down after 10seconds.

From experience its as tho the cpu is over heating.

I boot up pc and its making a terrible noise winding/vibrating noise and shuts down first 10secs then press again straight after like 5seconds.

It does seem to be coming from the liquid cooler more so the part coving the cpu. is there something I missed? there is not a procedure I shoulda done ive literally unplugged fans unscrewed them rescrewed new ones plugged in connectors. hit power no this quiet peed as pc was fine just noisey :(

First check that u pluged everything on correctly and make sure you didn't make anything come lose that should be.
To me sounds like it could be the pump on the enclosed watercooler isn't coming on or is having problems also check how you fitted the fans make sure they can turn freely

yea are plugs are fine, fans spinning ok not a problem even hooked up old fans to try they were fine too. at first thought it was a cable catching a blade but that's clear.

computer has been off for around 25 mins while I posted here on laptop so its cooled abit more and stayed on for 20seconds.

so its defo a cpu cooler issue self shut down to protect cpu I guess

Does it boot to windows then shut down, any errors popping up?, Got a speaker you can plug into the motherboard for beep codes?

ty for all those who replied, problem seems have been solved for now.

I lied the system flat, unscrewed and rescrewed it tight reboot flat and noise is gone and seems to be running fine.

those new fans are making a huge difference noise wise but im not too sure if I have effected cooling and performance just been running a game for 20 mins what do people think of this http://imgur.com/1r6ZyNJ

I cant really make end or tail of it and didn't log temps before install :(

Funny noise after replacing fans? Any chance the radiator has been caught while changing and it's let some air in/lost coolant. Any leaks?

run asus realbench stress test, from your linked graphic you werent working the cpu hard enough

Will run this test tonight, I played CSGO for around 2hrs straight last night (only game I play atm) after quiting my temp was 59o, which ive been told is fine.

My main concern is that on my old noisy cooler fans I used to put my hands over it at the back and it was very powerful the heat it blew out this is hardly anything. The directions are have them both blowing out so just worried that im keeping it cool enough i.e temps.
