I have just built a home media pc, but would also like to play a few games through it as its running through my LCD TV.

I am currently loaning a 7300SE from work which seems failry dire to be honest.

I ideally do not want to spend more than £60/£70, it needs to be slient, with no fan at all if possible and to not need a seperate plug for the power (As my media PC only has a 250w PSU).

I used to have a Radeon X1800XT PE in my old PC which I was very happy with so If I can find somewhere near the performance of that that would be excellent.

Thanks!

surely an 8600gt or hd2600 would be better?

my tv has a hd input, so maybe a card with a hd output would be a good idea. but my ps3 is currently plugged into that. can you get hd spilitters?

the middle one looks ideal. how much performance difference is there between the top two, and has anyone any ideas if you can get a hd splitter for two hd leads into the one socket?

Go for the top one, anything other than GDDR3/GDDR4 is not going to cut the mustard for games.

You might be able to find the HD2600XT's (GDDR3) for around £70 if you look around.
