Fitting a backplate to the non reference 5870 by xfx

I have found a backplate that would fit the non reference xfx 5870 that ocuk sell here. My question is, how hard are they to fit and what do i need to becareful of?

Is it as simple as removing the screws and then fixing on the backplate before rescewing it on??

Also does the GPU holding plate (The cross plate that has 4 screws on each corner) need to come off or do i just leave it on?
