Fitting a Headunit

Hi

I'm getting very fed up with my tape player in the Rover, who the hell has tapes anyway! So I'm off out today headunit shopping.

My question is, how easy is it to fith one, do they just swap over (doubtful) or is there a bit of wiring involved? Do I need any special tools etc?

It's a 2000 Rover 200, headunit in there is an R660 that came with the car.

I'm thinking about a MP3 unit so that I don't have to cart loads of disks about for £100ish. I'm guessing halfrauds should have a fair selection to choose from.
