Hi,

Was wondering if anyone could help me sort out a subwoofer for my car. I've got a Toyota Yaris MK2 (phase 2) '06 reg.

Not sure what version of the "headunit" I've got, but it looks like this:

What I'm looking at installing is a subwoofer with an amp in the boot, however I don't want to replace the headunit, so I believe I need to find something that takes the signal from the current unit, and converts it into "pre-amp" from "post-amp" which then goes into the sub.

Also, does anyone have the specs for the side speakers, because I'm also looking at replacing them.

Cheers.

hey mate.

You need an amp with a hi-level input, or as you mentioned get a hi-level to low-level (RCA) converter on the bay of e for not much money. You're also going to need to pick up both a "remote on" power, which powers the sub only when the car is in use, and a proper full strength power line from the battery. If you live near Daventry i even have a pretty nice 10" fli & amp combo...
