Got it in the post yesterday, fitted it last night but not sure if I've done it correctly (instructions included were lacking to say the least).

Is it correct to tighten the sprung screws until they won't turn any more, or should I just be doing a few turns on each corner?

I probably need to remove it anyway to ensure there's enough TIM in the void gaps between the heatpipes, so would love to do it correctly when refitting.

So, if anyone else is wondering, from other similar heatsinks the instructions say turn the screws until they stop - most of the actual tension is in the springs.

Removed mine near the end of my case move (nasty old generic case to a Antec 300), nowhere near enough spread from using the "pea" method so I put some TIM in the voids between the heatpipes and aluminium block, flattened with a credit card and then put three small lines down the aluminium parts between the heatpipes.

Temps are looking good, using the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility with a 5 minute test I peaked at 38 degrees for the CPU temp, core temps a little higher but none went over 44.

Core temps are a little uneven (~6 degrees between hottest and coldest) but I'm going to let everything settle in before I decide what to do.
