Fitting Fiesta Mk7 towbar?

Hi all,
How easy it is to wire in the tow bar wiring in on a Mk7 1.0 ecotec thingy Fiesta?

Looking at the mechanical side of things it looks ok to do.

Last time I fitted tow bar was ro a mk5/6 Escort. I spliced the electrics into the lights.

Do newer cars come with a connection?

Depends on how you want to do it. You can buy a simple bypass relay for about £20 and that just splices into your wiring like the old days. Or if you want it to integrate a bit better then you can get dedicated wiring kits such as Wesfalia. These are a little more complex to fit but will join into your existing wiring without damaging anything and integrate with the cars electrics so it knows when the tow bar is connected disabling rear parking sensors etc.
