The instructions do not say to remove the mounting brackets that are shipped with the motherboard. But looking at the pics and the design, they have to be removed, yes ? Can't see how the cooler could fit otherwise

Giot it fitted, and indeed the existing backplate and mounting brackets must be removed. Nice cooler, I hope it performs as well as it looks
