He peeps I am about to start building a new rig based around the corsair 650D
case. I want to remove the front 200mm corsair fan and replace it with two
Noctua NF-F12 120mm Fans. But before I go ahead and order them does anyone
know for certain that they will fit?.

Don't think they will unless you do some modding.

If you've got a 650D in front of you the easiest way would be to check if it has the mounting screws for the fans, if not, then you'd have to drill your own mounting holes to get it to fit.

In fact, looking at stuff, I'm not even sure there is room to mod it so they'd fit..

yeah thought is was a long shot, think i'll replace the
corsair fan with a more effective 200mm unit.
(Any suggestions appreciated).
That'll be cheaper than going for the nocuta's as front
fans too.

I think the bitfenix Pro's are the best 200mm fans out there at the moment. I am going to get some for my 600T soon.

here's someone who's done it :)

When I bought this case I had hoped that on low the fans would be quiet enough, as I sleep with the PC on sometimes. But they were still louder than my Eclipse 62 with the 120mm fans on high. So I have replaced the gimmick 200mm fans with 2 akasa amber fans. I will be replacing these with akasa apache fans at some point.

Had to move the hdd cage back a couple of cm, so took the opportunity to use double sided foam tape to stick it down. This will help to absorb some of the hdd vibration. Although the stock solution does a pretty good job anyway.

Its a lot quieter and temps appear to be the same on low.

Looks ghetto as hell posted under that beauty though :D.

I think it may be a 600t, but iirc the 650d and 600t have the same basic construction, apart from the 650d is taller to accommodate radiators

Yeah, you're right Kiiyz, I did think I'd seen someone do it somewhere, but couldn't find an image showing the result, and obviously didn't want to say it absolutely can be modded to do it if I didn't know xD

To be honest though, for pure ease I'd probably just get a Bitfenix instead.
