Hey guys,

Would it be ok if I put a 45deg fitting into the pump top inlet (ek top and D5 pump) as it'll make the tubing route a lot better from the front bay res, otherwise I get kinking, can't seem to do it without kinking this one?

Cheers :)

if the inlet has a kink, that would cause a flow issue and strain the pump more. a 45 is fine as long as mavity is priming the pump from the res at startup

Thanks mate, and yeah, the res is higher and directly feeding the pump, so looks like I'm good to go.

Almost finished tubing and routing Project: Blue Mist, just sleeving to do now (and start the project log) :D

Ah cool, thanks bud :)

BTW, what's happened to your PC, your signature recently said all broken?

Did a re-build, fired it back up to find a dead 7970 :(

Awaiting replacement for the card, while I have some down time I'm doing some forward planning, at the moment I have:

MSI Big Bang Xpower II
i7 3820
8GB Kingston HyperX 2400mhz
HW1000W
7970 Lightning (awaiting replacement, hopefully be able to replace with a BE)

All wrapped up on a Dimastech bench table, but I'm still waiting for some spares for the table to arrive from Italy, its just a temp measure until I decide which case I want, I was all set on an XSPC H1+, but Mountain Mods have recently updated their line of cases as well as custom options, so now considering an MM Ascension with a front mounted 1080 radiator with an all plexi top :o

Nope, seem to be expanding if anything, you may be thinking of Danger Den who ceased trading the other week :)

Need to figure out shipping costs before I decide though, including customisation its looking around the $400 mark, which isn't too bad considering I was going to pay out £370 for the XSPC case, the dollar being so weak at the moment is helping too.

Ah yes, sorry it's was DD that I was thinking of, doh!

Quick question, I assume the res that feeds the pump does so from the 'out' port and the return flow from the loop goes to the 'in' port on the res?
