fix for weird icon in system preferences

Hi,
i remember there was a thread before regarding a funny icon in the system preferences window, and someone got the fix for it. i did a search and looked through the threads here but cant find it at all. I have this funny icon now and want to fix it, can anyone help?

Delete these fellas:

user/library/cache/com.apple.preferencepanes.cache
user/library/cache/com.apple.preferencepanes.searchindexcache
