Earlier this year I bought a BFG GTX280 and has been working fine scince..
however my computer sometimes just turns off but the fans and things are still on and lights but i noticed that the GFX card light turns red when this happens and the fan on it stops.
Does this mean its graphics related or is something else in my PC causing the light to turn red on it and the fan to stop.
Holiday soon so if its an RMA i want a new one when i get back :)
Thanks

sounds like the card crashed, that shouldn't happen through.

try different drivers?

does it happen radomly or is there a pattern, as you may send back the card but there is nothing wrong with it.

definately sounds like a driver issue. Nvidea have just released a driver update 186.18 you could try downloading and installing them to see if the issue continues.

Faulty PSU rail causing a severe enough drop in power, gfx card overheating after warm up, stock overclock has slowly become unstable, take your pick. :)
