Morning all, I'm doing around 6 miles a day commuting to work everyday and it's getting tedious on the mtb. My road bike is far too nice to be covered in road grime and I don't like leaving it in the bike sheds at work either...

I did originally see the Foffa bikes but they're too expensive for a winter hack, then I looked at the Planet X fixie and also the Specialized Langster... Both I quite like the look of, especially the Langster.

Does anybody have any advice to offer?

See also Fuji and Charge Plug.

I'd be on the Fuji, it's a great looking bike.

Or get an old track bike and sling a brake on. It'll always hold its value.

£250 used if you get lucky with one near you. Way better looking than the Langster IMHO, the look of a bike being the most important thing ;)
