Afternoon all,
I've been doing the garden for the last year or so - and we're nearly finished. The last thing on the list is to sort some kind of sound system.
I use apple exclusively at home - and have a couple of airplay speakers dotted about the house.
Most are using wireless - and to be honest the router seems to handle it fine, without any drops. When selecting multiple speakers - there is no lag so all is working.
I suppose the easiest option is just to put the speakers outside as and when - and either buy a wifi extender, or use homeplugs (I tried this option yesterday and it worked really well!)
However, I'd like a more fixed solution.
I know you can buy bluetooth amplifiers with outdoor speakers... Which would seem to suit - but I like using airplay - which would mean that i could have the same music in the house and outside - whereas I'd have to use bluetooth outside to the detriment of music inside..
No idea if I'm making sense - but any help gratefully received!
