I stupidly got nicked using my phone while driving, [serves me wright].
Anyone know how long it should take to get my licence back with the 3 points added on? I posted the payment for the fine nearly 4 weeks ago and the cheque has not even been cashed, lost in post perhaps?

The DVLA are notoriously slow sorting such things out, I'd give them a call but would not hold your breath.

Took them over a year to sort out the V5 for my BMW and about 6 weeks to sort a problem I had with my digital tachograph card.

Useless.

Not that I approve but next time, if you must, stick at least one wheel up on the kerb and you'll just be done for whatever the markings are either side of the zig-zags.

As a driver you should make sure you're aware of what can and can't get you points.
You've only got 12 to play with and losing 3 for silly things like parking on Zig-Zags is a very silly thing to do.
