Fixing leaky cistern

Having read the recent thread by @Boycey0211 about his water leak woes and the huge amount of water his leaky cistern had wasted, I have decided I need to do something about my leaky cistern...

This is the leaky part in question:

I'm assuming I can just replace the whole float valve but none of those I can see at Screwfix etc look quite the same as what I've got, can anyone point me in the right direction or link me to something suitable?
 
Had to change out the syphon unit on our upstairs toilet a couple of years ago as it turned out the occasional (annoying) drip from the filler was because water coming out the bottom. It got to the point where it was sticking and running through every 6th flush or so. Unfortunately as the cistern is close coupled to the pedestal quite a major job. First of all had to free the seriously rusted nuts and securing bolts, then the feed pipe then the bolts to the wall. Even a drained ceramic cistern is quite heavy and getting it all back in place after changing the unit was even more ... interesting. At least we saved £120 on a plumber callout, though.
