My car got washed today for the first time in many months and I've remembered why I keep it dirty as I can now see just how shafted the paintwork is.

There is a ~5x3cm patch of laquer missing from the front clam (along with a new family of stone chips). Can I just get this touched up and how much is it likely to cost? I'm thinking of buying a tin of varnish from B&Q tomorrow ;)

There is also a small patch of red paint where it looks like someone has opened the door in my car. What's the best way of removing it?

I'll post some piccies tomorrow when it's light.

I got some automotie laquer a while back when some of it peeled away from my bumper, a bit of spraying later and it looked flawless. But I dont know if you want to try it or not.
