As the crow flies I am 2.9km from my nearest telephone exchange, my phone line length is over 5km!
Basically I am only able to get 512Kbps broadband at the best of times. (It's really flaky and has been off more than on lately!)
BT have been out and tested the line and say there is nothing that can really be done due to the line length and distance. I was wondering what others have done in this predicament and are there any alternative solutions? The frustrating thing is I would be willing to pay extra for a reliable 2mb or so link.
If I threaten to cancel my BT Broadband do you think BT would come up with anything?
Cheers
