Flaming IE8?

Very often i have to keep putting in my user name / password on different forums etc even though i tick the box to remember me. It is a pain!! It works fine for a day or so and than, all of a sudden i have to input all again at every site etc!!

Why is this happening?

Do you run CCleaner perhaps? I always had this issue with IE8 until I started using Opera and never looked back. Built in password manager is handy as you can just click an icon to log you in to Gmail, OcUK etc.

I had this very same problem with IE8 and could never find a solution. Now a Chrome user and don't intend to go back.

No what I mean is CCleaner can delete the cookie(s) that remember your login and thus you end up having to enter it again. As I say I always had this issue with IE8 and never did get to the bottom of it. You could look for a password manager extension perhaps to use with IE8?

Just happened again!!!!!!!!!!

Got a blue screen too and something about 'Crash Dump'.

2nd blue screen this morning!!!

Well, Blue screen happened once more and also says 'Bad-Pool-Header' in text!!

I've found that IE has issues storing passwords for our SharePoint site here at work, the only solution I've found that makes it save passwords is to add the address to the Intranet Sites options in IE. Alternatively adding the site to the Trusted Sites list may have the same effect?

Well, Blue screen happened once more and also says 'Bad-Pool-Header' in text!!

You might want to put a post up in General hardware for the blue screen problem you are getting. I would probably start by running a Memtest book disk for a few hours to make sure your RAM is not faulty first of all and go from there...
