Flappy Bird to be REMOVED from App Store, Google, Play TOMORROW!

Some people are just happy with the quiet life and would rather not have all the attention.
 
If he wants less attention I'm not sure removing this hugely popular game is going to have the desired effect.

I can imagine it must be pretty bad for somebody who just wants a quiet life, but give it a few weeks and it will all be forgotten, he should hang in there and be grateful that he got luck and made a nice stack of cash.

After a few days I'm sure those rioting will get bored.

I'm sure he'll sell it soon enough. It's the classic simple game - infuriatingly addictive.

It'll collapse within itself before the summer, and I'm sure the guy isn't stupid. Program addictive game; use free press to raise publicity; sell game; lie on a bed of money.
 
He's already made lots of money for him to afford an awesome holiday. He could just take a 6 month break and come back to even more monies. Just have a friend or accountant keep an eye on things.
 
maybe he's a genuine modern day Kurt Cobain or maybe he's saying it promote more downloads....

never heard of this game till now, downloaded it though so it worked! :D

The game is pants though, whats all the fuss about? its just another worm clone!
 
I'm thinking publicity stunt or something too. The "fame" isn't exactly celebrity-level stardom (heck, some emails and tweets probably), and he has another game that is currently #3 on the iOS App Store.

It just doesn't make that much sense with the money and all.

Can't claim to know much about it however, the games both look a bit crap to be honest, nothing special.
 
Can't understand his reasons, unless lawsuit incoming.
