Working all nicely on my notebook and pc both running x64 Win7.

Beta 2 fixes the pixellated HD playback on some sites like Youtube and iPlayer people reported. Also iPlayer now works on my notebook with beta2, the beta1 and beta2 leaked build didn't, kept crashing Chrome/Firefox.

well this has fixed the 2 issues i had with beta1. the myspace player thingy (don't laugh) and steam were both fubared but seem to be working ok now.

Is Flash meant to have really smooth playback like tv, or is it my hardware?

What's debugger versions of Flash?

Flash Beta 2 doesn't enable hardware acceleration for BBC HD iPlayer with my HD4670. Going back to Beta 1 works ok. It's still not smooth playback though.

It is smooth playback here on both my Intel X4500MHD laptop and GTX260 on desktop.

Q9550 3.6GHz (2.5GHz speedstepped in Windows) and the notebook has a Intel ULV SU7300 (1.3GHz).

I can't seem to eliminate the poor screen tearing on mine, using Flash.

I've tried forcing vsync on, but it doesn't seem to work.

I get perfectly fine smooth playback with Quicktime 720P and WMVHD @ 1080P.

Hmm Anyone else's iPlayer error out in Firefox with Beta2 now? happens on both notebook and desktop which are running Win7 x64.

Also cannot install the IE version (active x) of the beta2 plugin as the installer errors out now.

Not that it was essential to have hardware decode anyway as it appears both CPUs manage just fine on the 10.0 plugin for Flash HD !

Sites like Youtube etc do not stream for me. It waits until the whole file clip is downloaded until it plays, tried a few sites and all the same. Did the same in beta 1 too.

Hopefully fixed in the next/final release.

How fast is your internet? I assume it starts playing based on whether it should need to pause half way through for your internet to catch up or not.

I've had iplayer crash my firefox using both beta 1 and beta 2 so far, happens when I start the video up in full screen.
