Flash 8 - Dynamic Text Box HTML Formating Problem

Ok as the title says im using flash 8 and I am dynamicaly loading text from an external file into the movie, which works fine, however even with the html formatting option on flash isnt rendering the html, click here for the archive of code, can any one suggest the problem?...

I haven't got flash 8 so I can't see but when I had this problem it was because I was using

_root.movieclipname.text = this.text

when I needed to be using

_root.movieclipname.htmlText = this.text
