Flash 9 beta - Ubuntu

Does anyone have flash 9 installed on ubuntu?

I had it on a previous installation and all was fine. Bought a new HDD reinstalled linux but now flash 9 is complaining that my libc6 is too old.

I have the lastest version installed through apt.

I had the same problem.

I got it to work by using Automatix to install it and now it works - Flash 9.

Thanks, but unfortunately that hasn't helped.

My libc6 is still too old for flash 9.

On my previous installation it worked, don't know whats different this time.

Works fine here on Edgy. I just unpacked the latest tar, popped libflashplayer.so in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, and then symlinked it in the relevant firefox/opera plugin directories.

The flash plugin I can see via apt is v7 - which repo are you getting v9 from?

i'm not getting it form any repros,

I don't suppose it supports 64bit yet? I guess I'm stuck with using Gnash!
