Flash Bios from USB?

hi,

is it possible to flash a bios from a usb stick? i dont have a floppy drive installed!

thanks

Yep ,more than capable, I must have done it well in excess of 2000 times at work...

i'll try getting a link, all you need is your USB to be bootable...then stick the relevant files on there.

Unless your doing it via Asus EZ-flash or something, in which case you just need the bios files.

Hi if you got Asus EZ flash this will be even more simple than anything else.
Download the latest BIOS on to it and then select it in EZ Flash

i have an asus rampage formula and the manual mentioned something about EZ flash...

Is this easy to do?

Yep.

Just goto the Asus website, find your motherboard, download the relevant BIOS, stick it onto USB pen how it tells you to in the readme.txt (or something along those lines) You normally just extract the files into a standard folder named whatever you wish it to be...

Stick your pen in the system, turn it on, go into the bios, select Asus EZ-Flash (this will probably be at the end of the bios menu to the right near where you exit the bios), then follow the prompts really...Pretty self explanatory :)
