Are these any good? I want a quick and easy way of getting my car clean when its dirty. Anything which helps prevent me putting a dirty sponge in a bucket or spreading dirt around on the clean surface is a bonus too...

... what do you think? Anyone bought or used one of these ?

great.... til it broke after about 6 washes, get a sponge out!

That's funny.....mine also broke  It's really annoying because it's actually quite good.....

i'm still using mine and i've had it for ages, granted i don't wash the car all that much but I do find it pretty effective and simple to use :)

Does a brilliant job on a dark coloured car. As long as the filters are in good condition and you put a resonable amount oif the wash ont the sponge and car then the results are very good. Makes getting a clean black or dark blue car possible without spending hours chasing water spots round the car with a water blade a cloth...

im really tempted in popping into halfords and picking it up for £20 on the way home from work...

...those that broke? how did they break? did it just fall apart?

can i use a wash mitt instead of a sponge with this?

Hhhmmmmrrrrr, don't a lot of hose attachments have a dispenser for suds, weedkiller etc? I'm sure I've seen them in Homebase/B&Q/Lidl

In theory, at least for coating the car in foam. What you wont have is the auto dry setting which uses the de-ionising filter to do the sneaky drying with little or no streaking stuff...

My flash car wash just produces a trickle now, i thought it was the pressure in our hose but it does the same thing at my nans. Rather annoying.....

The first time I used mine I used it on what I thought was a relitively clean car... by the time I had finished the sponge was black  It does a really good job of lifting the dirt and the auto-dry is a fantastic feature.

Its a bit off putting as it doesn't soap up much but the results are excellent.

Just make sure you've got a bucket of fresh water to wrinse the sponge between each section and soap up the sponge aswell as the car.
