How easy will it be to create a flash animation for a navigation system on a website. I want to make a 600px wide 80px high fla that will be mainly blank reading "navigation" until you move your curser over the whole area that will then reveal several text lines (each clickable) that will then reveal even more text like a subcatagory.

You can do this fairly easily with css, which is better for standards, search engines, and users with disabilities.

If you're determined to go with flash you'll have to make it jump to the "make subcategories appear" keyframe when the user mouses over the button. Easy enough, right click on it, its called actions or something. Not used flash in aaages.

Im interested to see a CSS example that you refer to? I am quite behind the times on current html technology.

I do love that site. Beautiful.

The reason it works there is because the whole site is flash. So you don't have to work with html and flash seperately, which can be messy.

Gonna have to learn some very nice flash for that mate. I'd buy a book and get learning :)
