Hey, Well i've just found out i have been accepted to college in September to do a BTEC level 3 in IT. (3 a level's) But i dont have a decent flash drive so im hoping you can help me out

I dont know if to get USB 3.0 (college wont have 3.0 but its backwards compatable?) I have 3.0 at home.
Fast i will be using it every lesson every day :|
8GB+ While not being stupidly priced.
