Has anyone elses partner become obsessed with the likes of Farmville & Farmerama etc etc.

I swear I'm going to add the word 'Farm' to my firewall block list as it's become an obsession.

Seriously getting on my moobs.

or is there any online games (free) where you can build a little city or something ?:P
 
I work at a kitchinwear shop which has mainly middle aged female employees with teens as weekend staff. We went to a meal and it was the oddest thing that all them lot were talking about facebook and farmville and we, the young'uns were talking about... life :p

Loads of random people on my facebook play farmville, so a couple of days ago I started just for the lulz, basically i'm abusing the game mechanics as much as possible using exploits etc, just to outlevel people that have been playing for months and months :p

(I've turned off the messages it spams, don't worry)
 
A mate's Mrs is obsessed with chuffing Farmville, if they come over for dinner she has to use my laptop to harvest her crops. We were out once at a beer fest and she called her sister to harvest them because we weren't going to be back until late.

Bet poor old Al Gore didn't see the future 1's and 0's in his creation being put to such a pointless use...

Sounds to me like your already addicted..

It's too late for you.
 
Farmville is dangerously addictive. If you're contemplating it, don't. It's worse than smoking and alcohol put together.
 
If you surround the starting area with bales of hay (or anything) you can "teleport" to any area of your farm instantly

It's because the game instantly performs any action that you cant reach, so if you trap yourself in an area you can do anything without walking around. :p
 
You should find the old SNES game Harvest Moon, it's the original that is much better! Awesome series of games.
 
I have, fortunately, been able to resist the Facebook games....although friends of mine are so into them it has taken over their lives....it's almost like an addiction
