Flash - Left Hanging - Open up SWF?

Hi guys,

So I used eLance to outsource a small flash job, however near the end the guy disappeared off the planet leaving me with a 99% done project but no working files, the last 1% does however need doing for me to be able to wrap up the project and I've been left high and dry.

Now I know there are ways to reverse engineer SWF files although I'm not sure how good a job they do, plus the files that I was left with is framework based so there are multiple bits and bobs:

Am I screwed or can I get into this to make the final tweaks?

I'm in disbelief he didn't just finish it so he could get his money!

If you haven't got the project files then i would have a go at decompiling the compiled flash files and attempt to rebuild a project from it. But it depends how big of a project it is to begin with as it might be easier to start again.

Main.swf is the only file that you're interested in, the others are the Flex framework components.
