Might be showing my age here but when I was much much younger I distinctly remember that in the old days when on the motorways or dual carriageways people, my old man included, used to flash their headlights at the car in front and lo-and-behold the car in front would move over.
These days I've hardly seen this and on the 1 occasion I remember the 2 cars involved ended up road raging each other for some dry exhaust pipe antics for miles on end.
Apart from reflecting on sentiment and the good old days I was wondering how people here would react if there was a gap to their left and the car behind came along and flashed them? The obvious answer is that if there was a gap you'd have pulled into it ages ago but humour me
