flash menu help!

hi, am playing about with different menu systems and having trouble with this one.

The different colour bars are for different pages, if i click on the green bar i ideally want the green, red and black bar to move together to show the page. Then i could click on another button and would show another page while moving the other pages out of the way. This could all be done within a timeline but i know there must be a quicker way of doing this! Could someone give me some help as i havent used flash in a long time!

A horizontal accordion is not the most simple of project's but ActionScript (AS) is the key. Each item would ideally be it's own movieClip, then in an AS function you'd need to build the logic: what item has been clicked on, what item is 'open', therefore what items need moving, where to and then move them.

I may have a tinker later, i'll see how i feel and what time i get, don't hold me to it though..

a cheesy name but www.gotoandlearn.com has some good tutorials/forums.

i've got a sample working.. just sorting my web space out to upload the .fla and i'll try to describe what i've done

EDIT: and so it enters the void.. like my freetime i'm getting tired of people starting such threads and forgetting about them before the day is out.
