Flash MX Trial?

Anyone have this, or know of a link to it? I need it for a Uni assignment so a trial would do. MX2004 would be fine as well as you could save as MX format.

Wish the stupid Uni would get with the times.
 
If you need Flash for a Uni project, they really should provide it for you. :o

They just tell you to use the crappy PC's. :(

Surely it still allows you to save it in MX format? I can't check atm as the Flash exe somehow managed to find it's was into the Sophos infected list, but can check when I get home.
 
Nope, you can only save as the previous version. So CS3 can only save as 8, 8 can save as MX2004, and MX2004 can save as MX.
 
You are going to have a problem to be honest as the only way to get the trial legally is from Adobe and as you have found out any trials they do now are for CS3.
 
Suck it up and use the PCs. Is there a reason why they're crappy or are you just saying that because they're Windows machines?
 
Just means I have to go into Uni and sit for hours working on it, when I can can sit at home and do it like I normally do.

Nothing wrong with Windows.
 
Bootcamp in to XP, run a copy of MX2004 (given to you by the uni).

There's always that route.
 
The MX2004 CD, like most Macromedia products, was a Mac and PC install, so if you have the disc you already have the Mac version.

That's where Bit Torrent comes in to play, or at least it wouldn't be as bad imo :o

You own the Windows version therefore it's criminal you can't cross grade for a Mac version.

Why would it be?

You can Bit Torrent the Neo Office app, or choose to download from the http.

I know it's a different kettle of fish (pay for app vs. open source), but so long as the uploader has rights to distribute the demo then it's just an easier way to obtain it.
