Flash news ticker - anyone interested?

I'm looking to replace the Javascript ticker on http://routehiker.escouts.net
I tried myself in Flash, but failed miserably (not my strong area).
I'm basically looking for someone to create a simple Flash ticker for me.

Requirements:

Fades each item in and then out again
Reads items from an external file (http://routehiker.escouts.net/includes/ticker.php)
Works through a list of 30 items, which are all seperate variables in the external file, and then loops.

Aesthetics aren't important, I just need a working copy

Can anyone help?

I could probably do something quickly for you. Would be a simple text field in a movie clip which could fade in and out and the move onto the next item from the external file.

Would you need to edit the file at a later stage as id be doing it in flash professional 8 so you would need at least flash 8 to edit it later on. And is that php file able to be changed as it would need some modifications for flash to be able to read that data (data has to be loaded into flash in a specific format).

Yup I've got Flash 8 Pro, so that's fine...
I can edit the PHP file however you wish - i'm guessing vars in the format &item1=bla bla bla &item2=bla bla bla etc..?
EDIT: Made a file at http://routehiker.escouts.net/includes/ticker2.php

That's all I need it to do

I can't help with the flash, but where did you get the java script ticker from?

Wrote it myself a while back...but its been causing huge problems with the google ads in FF 1.0.6. and 1.0.7, because of the dynamic content bug.
Someone wrote me a flash file the other day which scrolls the items (currently live), which is just a temporary fix until I get the fade one sorted.
