Flash Not Displaying in IE

I have this weird problem, that adobe flash will not display properly in Internet Explorer (6 & 7) All I get is a small square with a little dot (well a few pix wide square) in the center of it. It all displays fine in Firefox. eg. If i go to YouTube instead of getting the flash video, all I get is the above mentioned little box where the video should be.

I have tired uninstalling Flash and reinstalling it to no avail.

Any ideas?

then reinstalled flash and everythings ok now

Thanks, but thats what I used to uninstall flash - didnt help
