flash possibly locking up computer?

Recently if I have a few flash based things on a website running at once my computer appears to lock up.
Atleast this is the only common thing I can think of.

Anybody else had this after the recent update?
Anyway I can check an error log of my computer?

The only way to restart it is to hold down the power button.

Does the Flash have video content? I've had problems before with graphics drivers that have caused lockups with Flash video so would try updating or changing drivers.

Computer is crashing again. Well done it twice. Tends to be when watching something form putlocker.
First time I thought it was due to having a few flash things running at once. Second time was just watching putlocker and clicked on a link. Thing totally froze and did the whole milisecond of repeat audio stutter.

Was using chrome this time, and I think before a mixture or both chrome and FF. But I know FF doesn't like flash, for ages now it never seems to like it. Always crashes when loads of things are running. Can give the error message the next time I am on.

Is this actually flash or an other issue? Anything I can try and resolve?

edit: got the FF error code:
Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2036: Load Never Completed.

Though I think there could also be a second different.

tell me this ash does it unfreeze if you CTRL ALT DEL and go to task manager?

This is happening to me as well I have the latest ATI drivers I just changed mobo CPU and hard drive fresh install of windows so it's definitely a software issue have it also watching youtube vids comp locks up and I need to do above to get control back :( it was also happening with my old install

With the FF and the above error message it does. But opening up the same page again in chrome I receive no problems.

For the putlocker videos I have no luck, holding down the power button is the only way to restart things, even the reset button doesn't work, but that could be a wiring issue......just off to test that button just now.

edit: reset button (CM 830 case) does work. Annoyingly it seems to have knocked my raid, but got the intel monitoring thingy rebuilding it so no harm done.

Hmm download the new Flash Player 11 release candidate and see if it still happens?

Being as it only happens with video which is the only thing with Flash that uses the GPU, i think it could be graphics drivers. But being as it dont happen in Chrome i'm not sure...

Once you have Flash 11 installed try this demo and see if it crashes? It's a pretty large download because Flash 11 now uses DirectX for graphics acceleration and that demo shows it off so it's on the level of console graphics (any graphics possible with DX games can now be done in Flash)... so if it's a Flash + GPU acceleration problem that demo i linked should crash because it's a lot more stressful than video...

You dont have to but i would uninstall it anyway just to make sure Flash 10 has gone completely incase it's a problem with that version.
