FLASH probs

hi all ive got the newest vir of flash installed on my pc but some sites that use flash say its not there or needs turning on !!

How the hack do i turn it on?? can any one help a noob??

IE7 (was ok on IE6)
yes browser was open but comp was restarted

nope XP pro never had probs before just the last few months ie stoped liking flash

all sorted now i never had the player installed

all them probs dude to that man!!! o well silly me lol
