Flash runs like granny pants in Firefox?

Hey guys. Any idea why my CPU hits 100% every single time I use flash in firefox? It is just firefox, all works fine in Internet explorer.

2GB RAM, 3ghz Opteron(Very stable)

Flash is upto date, So is firefox and I'm using just the single page, no multiple tabs or anything.

Is it a known problem?

Have the same issue, but the beta appears to be a bit better. So try that.

Otherwise I'd switch browsers, as much as I love FireFox, on a low end system like I use for web/office/e-mail it is becoming an serious issue. I'd suggest Iron, which google chrome without all the privacy issues.

Thanks for the response. Glad I'm not alone in this, was looking through processes\addons\plugins and everything trying to find a reasoning, And it really is down to firefox + flash. No nasties! Moved to chrome and it works just fine. Thanks
