Does anyone know where I can get a horseshoe mount for my canon 430ex onto my manfrotto tripod?

I would suggest a blacksmith.

If, however, what you really want is a hotshoe adapter then have a look at items 380120833975 or 370202371789.

Might be a bit late but does the 430EX come with a wee plastic stand for using it as an off camera slave? My 550EX did and the stand has a tripod thread built in.

Comes with a small foot only. You can pick up a hotshoe umbrella adapter for £9.99 easily enough though. I have one and it works a treat.

Genius, lucky I didn't buy it yet! The little stand has the thread on it! I think this will do for now as I don't have an umbrella or anything. I just wanted to get a st-e2 was all and wanted to be able to play with different flash positions. Might get a 530ex over summer too if I can scrape the cash together and have a dual flash setup.

Just bought a battery grip for my 400D today. Got a bargin 2nd hand on the bay- grip + rechargeable battery (official) for £60. Well the grip alone is £115 and the bettery is £30 odd so I got a right deal! Coming tomorrow!

Haha, just arrived already at 8am! Works perfectly and not a mark on it! So happy with it lol, the camera feels so much more sturdy and balanced now especially with my heavier lenses attached like the 150mm sigma.
