I had it on PC.

It was really janky and hard to play. It was made at the time when devs hadn't entirely gotten to grips with 3D games and camera placement.

Bioforge was another one, but I did eventually complete that. Although that was a bit different as it had fixed camera angles, like Alone in the Dark/Resident Evil

I completed another world on pc. They revamped it, and i think it was free for a while. This was pre steam i think. Same game but with high res backgrounds.

I didnt get very far on flashback... seems like a job for the deck!

Edit. Original is 89p, bargain

Bioforge, what a game! I was just a tiny kid when that came out but it always stuck in my mind. Ended up watching a play through of that on YouTube when working from home during Covid. I’ve no idea how people completed games back then, such trial and error finding the solution :p

Yeah those games were brutally difficult compared with today.

I seem to remember it was a fairly short game though.

Flashback, man don't even get me started. Easily in the top 3 of my favourite ever games of the early 90s on Amiga. Flashback, Black Crypt and Dungeon Master.

So much so, that I wrote a walkthrough for Flashback in late 1994 that was then published in November 1994, by a major national gaming mag. I was 16 at the time and I'll never forget that game.

And yes, I see a lot of talk about Another World, which was a class game and Fade to Black which was an abomination of a release.

The OG Flashback on the Amiga... Man, I'm 45 years old but I'll never forget playing that game some 30 years ago, it was ground breaking.

Watching the trailer, I like to see that they didn't strictly stick to a 2D perspective and there's some depth to movement. I'll be picking this up, day one. I'm not expecting miracles, but if it even brings back 1% of those childhood memories, I'll be good.
