Flashed my 6800 Ultra

Hi guys i just bought a 6800 Ultra PCI-E GPU 400mhz and DDR 1.1Ghz (nvidia).
Noticed XFX,BFG had 6800 Ultra with GPU Clock 425mhz

So downloaded nvFlash and NiBiTor.v2.8a.

Backed up my oringal bios using nvflash and then changed the clock with NiBitor and flashed it. Works great and GPU temp has gone up by 2*C, i should have done 3D mark but have not installed much on it.

wats RAMDAC clock? its 400mhz

Not bad although now you must get overclocking

The last Ultra I had was good for around 480/1280 and 6.7k in 05.

Although it was completely thumped by the X800GTO2 I had.

Thats some serious OC u had mate. Did u change the cooler on GPU?

RAMDAC is the Digital to Analogue convertor for sending a VGA signal.

Nope although I have excellent case cooling and ran a 40mm Vantec stealth aiding the airflow over the card.

I would imagine you could push the memory quite far although the core may not like 450+ mhz.

450/1200 was the max of mine with a 70% fan speed
