Flashgot selection help.

I use firefox with flashgot as an add-on to aid my downloading.
There's the option on right clicking to "Flash-got all" or "flash-got selection" etc.
My problem/question is my flashgot selection option just doesn't work anymore with my external hard drive.

I usually for say a tv show flashgot selection and save to my external hard-drive. Now the selection bit works if I download to my desktop but not if i try to download to my hard drive.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, I have all the updates installed and it was working up to a few days ago and I've not installed anything new.

Any help in fixing this would be much appreciated. As you can probably tell I'm not the best girl in the world at computers thanks!

Did you make sure the flashgot folder had been deleted from your firefox profile after the uninstall?

Yes I also uninstalled firefox and removed all its little folders and reinstalled.
