hi,

im trying to flash my 6800GT with a Ultra bios... my problem is that i dont have a floppy disc drive... is there a way to create a boot cd so i can flash it?

thanx in advance

Why not just overclock the 6800GT in Windows?

Less risk, same result.

As for the original question, if you've got a floppy disk image you can use something like Nero to burn it to CDR/CDRW.

doesnt flashing it to the ultra mean it increases the voltage and therefore the stock clock speeds... therefore increasing overall overclocking potential?

no, it means worse memory latencys.

iirc there was a test of a 6800u and 6800gt @u speeds (also vice-versa) and the gt came out better due to the tighter timmings of the memory.
