Ive always used a combination of radeon bios editor and atiflash to change the bios, But it doesn't seem to work Windows 7 64 Bit.

Is there any workaround or alternative other than software overclocking/fan profiles?

I have the same operating system and used to modify and flash bios fine on my 5870. I used a bootable USB flash drive.

Edit: Nevermind, Found out that Ati Winflash and Ati flash are actually two different tools, Its the former i need and the one that works.

Any chance you can remember which version you downloaded?

I just keep getting a "The version of this file is not compaible with the version of windows you're running"

I used Atiflash. You do know you can't use Atiflash from inside window's yeah? You have to run it from DOS which requires a bootable Cd-r or flash drive.

I have just flashed my 2x 6950's this morning from within Windows 7 64 bit using ATIWinFlash.

You need to run the exe with administrator privileges in order for it to work.

Atiwinflash = Windows program
Atiflash = DOS based program (read the 5870 flashing sticky at the top of the page)
