Flashing Bios on GTX460

the fan speed is set to 40% in the bios, it will not go below that, which is extremely overkill at idle. Stupid thing nvidia have done, ad for the life of me i do not know why! i want to change it in the bios somehow but have no idea how, i need a boffin!
