Flashing buzzer thing?

Alright guys,

since the birth of my baby boy 3 months ago I've had to play my games with virtually no sound. I've now got myself a brand spanking new pair of headphones so I can actually hear people sneaking up on me in CSS. However, this good news is countered with some bad news. I can no longer hear my wife when she's calling me. Now this would generally not be a problem, but there are the odd occasions where it is useful to hear her ie when tea is about to be served

What I need is some sort of remote control flashing buzzer thing that she can activate and I can see flashing and buzzing next to my keyboard. I'm not sure if that's the standard definition of such a device, but it's what I need.

Any ideas???

Get a cordless phone, get like a set of 2-3 and each phone can call any phone from the set, it will display whether its a incoming call externally or internally. Then you call tell when its an actual phone call or someone calling from inside the house.

Ahhhh yeah ... I've got a set already ... Not an obvious visual sign though, and I'd have to turn the volume down so as not to wake the baby.

the last headphones i had were the open type which do not cancel outside noise they can cost a little bit more but if you really need them time to trade
