flashing lines and texture during game??

Just build a new pc the other day with vista business, Powercolour HD3870 ATI Radeon from OCUK,2 gig ram, Inte core Quad,660 psu etc etc...

I have ready reviews about my graphics card and overall it's an ok-good card that should somewhat support most of the games out there in nomral settings
Playing World in conflict at the moment at 1280x1024 at medium settings...
there is no lag in the game etc.,..but i see flashing lines...dotts, vertical lines that come and go. flashign texture etc.. it's strange...like a bad tv signal..that gets interrupted every now and then

i installed the latests drivers but that doesnt seem to solve th problem..any ideas at all?? the rest seems fine desktop looks ok,,videos and online seem to be fine...and perform fine aswell
any ideas?

i have not tried it in other games as of yet... but in windows,videos,etc,seems fine,,,will test...thanks.

damn it....!! if it's a borken card,,gotta wait again..!...does OCUK send replacements or do i have to get a refund and re-order?
